I began my career as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army, where I developed expertise in operational planning, resource management, and leadership. After my time in the Army, I earned my Professional Engineering license and transitioned to civilian engineering management and green building consulting, leading complex projects both stateside and overseas.
After building a rewarding career in engineering and project management, I embraced a new chapter as a stay-at-home Mom following the birth of our third child—a season that strengthened my skills in organization, resource management, and adaptability. Life experiences – from managing major home renovations, coping with personal loss and health challenges, and planning complex family adventures – taught me the profound value of a solid financial plan and greatly influenced my decision to reenter the workforce in the financial services industry.
Before joining Astoria Strategic Wealth, I supported a small Financial Advisory practice through its transition to an independent RIA where I gained hands-on experience in client service and operational efficiency. I am now working to strengthen my technical financial knowledge by pursuing my CFP certification.
I am committed to helping individuals and families create financial strategies that reflect their values and prepare them for the future they envision. I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow with each client I serve.
My husband, Dwayne, and I have raised five daughters together. After many years in Northern Virginia, we now live in the Village of Granville, near Columbus, Ohio, where we enjoy traveling, outdoor adventures, and sharing new experiences with our girls.
